Growing up in a small town in Canada, Katie could always be found with a book in her hand. As she got older, her taste in genres changed but her love of stories always remained. From Junie B. Jones to Harry Potter to Robyn Carr, books have always been a big part of her life. 

When story ideas started coming to her, she decided to try her hand at writing and, naturally, fell in love with that too. 

She is best known for writing powerful women, swoon-worthy men and quirky characters that will make you laugh, cry and everything in-between. And, of course, happily-ever-afters.
